I'm finding that I must challenge my thinking when I place hope or devotion in places other than God. I'm 'Taking every thought captive' and 'renewing my mind' as the scriptures put it. A devotion to God, Prayer, THE Fellowship, Communion, Teaching. Those things certainly aren't a 'hopeless devotion'. Thanks for the blog Jon, a great and timely reminder.Craig Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01962475085771123424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4097110489603528078.post-90456145847846222312012-01-03T22:27:40.871+00:002012-01-03T22:27:40.871+00:00A timely word at the beginning of 2012. It's been a tough year for many, ourselves included, but through that our faith has been tested and God as always has proved utterly faithful providing just what we needed just when we needed it. Now is not the time to loose our nerve. Hold onto the promises of God.
